My husband loves honey fried bananas so much that we have a regular vendor at the market! Coincidentally, my sister-in-law gave us some fresh kepok bananas from Pontianak! I decided to make some to enjoy with our morning coffee... it feels so romantic, haha... awesome! 😄

8ripe kepok bananas
Batter ingredients: (mix well)
5 tablespoonsall-purpose flour
1 tablespoonrice flour
1 tablespoonmelted margarine
3 tablespoonshoney
Water as needed (to thin the batter)

Prepare the batter by mixing until it reaches a medium consistency. Cut each banana into 2 pieces.

Dip the bananas into the batter, coating them evenly.

Fry the bananas in plenty of oil over medium heat. Be careful not to use too high a heat, as the honey can cause them to burn quickly.

Voila... Honey Fried Bananas are ready! 😄 Perfect for enjoying with coffee or tea! 👍😍
