Steps
- 1
This recipe is super easy and quick to make. First, heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- 2
Slice all the garlic cloves and add them to the skillet with the oil. Fry the garlic for about 1 1/2 minutes or until golden brown. Don’t let it burn, or the sauce will taste bitter. Remove the garlic and set aside.
- 3
Next, add the peanuts to the oil. Fry for 1 minute, then remove and set aside.
- 4
In the same oil, fry the chiles. Fry them for just 10 to 15 seconds—just until they puff up and change color slightly. Once all the chiles are fried, turn off the heat and let the oil cool slightly. Set aside.
- 5
When the oil has cooled a bit, add the sesame seeds to the oil to prevent them from burning.
- 6
In a blender or food processor, combine all the ingredients, including all the oil used for frying. (The oil should be cool.) Add salt and pepper to taste and blend. The sauce will be thick, so add a little more oil if you like and blend again.
- 7
That’s it! You have a sauce that goes well with almost any kind of food. Enjoy!
