In a pan add oil, onion and saute them for 2 minutes now add ginger garlic paste to it and saute until onion changes it's colour and becomes golden brown

Now add apple gourd and mix for 2 minutes after that add tomatoes, matar and all spices and mix well with a half cup of water

When water becomes dry add yogurt to it mix and then 6 cups of water, cover with lid until water boils
Now add soaked rice to it mix and cook it until water dries - 4
When water dries completely cover with lid on a very slow flame for 5 minutes

Serve in a platter
