Chicken Momos/dumpling

Ms Kamrun
Ms Kamrun @cook_18723468

Momos are essentially dumpling that are streamed or fried in a special streamer. This’s a traditional Nepalese dish and although resembles the Chinese bao, isn’t from the region. Momos have become an integral part of Indo-chinese cuisine now and they’re served in most Indo-chinese restaurant these days. These are filled with assorted chicken/veg filling spiced quality herbs, pinched to make small baskets and then boiled or fried. Best chicken momo are one of the momo variations that are eaten a lot.Firstly, all you need is a little practice to bring them together and you can make them in no time. Most importantly, these can be made in various shape. Also, they can be served with a multitude of sauces.

Perhaps, the recipe of chicken momo is ready simple for me! Why? Because, once dough and rolling, filling the momos is done then you just need 15 mins to bring all the edges of this snack together.

Lastly, streaming the momos is not a rocket science at all. You can use a streamer for a the same or make them without streamer by using a pressure cooker.
