Steps

Knead chenna (cottage cheese) with semolina, all-purpose flour, sugar, 1/4 tsp cardamom powder and pinch of baking soda till it is soft and smooth dough.

Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape each into flatten tikkis. Keep aside.

Now another side, Pour milk to a heavy bottom pan and boil. Reduce the flame to medium. Stir and prevent the milk from scorching the bottom.Now add sugar, cardamom powder and saffron to the milk.

While stirring continuously, boil until the milk thickness and reduces to half the quantity.

Take oil in a pan let it heat. Add the flattened tikkis into the hot oil, fry on medium heat until golden brown both sides. Remove and immediately drop into the hot milk.

Once all the deep fried paneer tikkis are added, then off the flame.

Garnish with almonds flakes and saffron. Leave for some time to let the paneer tikkis soaked the milk.

Serve warm and chilled.
