Ingredients

  1. 2 Tbspdry yeast
  2. 1 tspvanilla sugar
  3. 1 cupwarm water
  4. 2 cupsoil
  5. 1 cuporange juice
  6. 1/2 cupsugar
  7. 4eggs
  8. Pinchsalt
  9. 7 cupsflour-plus more for rolling
  10. Filling:
  11. 3 cupssugar
  12. 1 1/2 cupscocoa
  13. 3 Tbspvanilla sugar

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Proof yeast, vanilla sugar, and warm water. Add rest of ingredients. Mix to form dough. Divide dough in 4. Coat counter generously with flour roll out dough into a circle, smear with oil, sprinkle liberally with filling, cut into wedges, roll up and place on lined cookie sheet. Smear with beaten egg.

    Bake at 350 until golden.

This was a terrible recipe - too wet to roll, even when adding a tremendous amount of flour.
