Ingredients

  1. 1kilo of potatoes
  2. 1 tbspghee or 4 tbsp vegetable oil
  3. 300 gground beef or lamb as desired
  4. 2 tbsppinenuts
  5. 1/3 teaspoon7 spices
  6. 1/2 teaspoonsalt
  7. oil for frying

Cooking Instructions

    Peel the potatoes, dice into small cubes, wash and strain

  2. 2

    Next deep fry the potatoes untill golden & crispy, strain & set aside

  3. 3

    In a saucepan add the ghee or vegetable oil as desired & saute the pinenuts until golden then remove from oil & set aside.

  4. 4

    In the same saucepan with the left over oil from the pinenuts add the ground beef or lamb over medium heat & saute untill browned

  5. 5

    Add the pinenuts over the meat, also adding the fried potatoes, the spices & salt to taste

  6. 6

    Stir in all together for a few minutes untill combined.

  7. 7

    Served hot, next to rice & some refreshing yogurt.
