For coconut chutney take grated coconut, roasted Chana dal, green chilli, tamarind, ginger and water to mixture jar and grind it into a paste as shown in picture.

Now we will do tadka to it. Take coconut oil or any other oil in tadkapan then add Chana dal, urad dal, mustard seeds to it and let it crackle. Then add curry leaves and dry red chilli to it and add the tadka to chutney. And chutney is ready to serve with dosa,idli, vada. This is the authentic recipe.
