Take the all-purpose flour, sugar, desiccated coconut, rava and cardamom powder in a bowl. Add the ghee and mix everything for few minutes until it becomes like a crumble. Slowly sprinkle the water and knead into a firm dough.

Dough should be firm dough. Dough must not be too soft. After the dough has been kneaded, make sure to rest it for 10 to 15 minutes.

Now dough is ready, make small balls. Press them and roll to round shape and make a design with fork and knife on them.

Take deep pan or kadhai medium flame and heat oil in it when the oil hot enough. Add thekua and deep-fry till golden brown and crisp.

Thekua is ready. Cool them at room temperature and store in airtight containers. Serve as a snack with tea.
