To make dhokla batter we will wash and soak chana dal and rice for 7:8 hours and then we will blend it smooth paste in mixer.now we will add buttermilk sour one to make batter consistency and few fenugreek seeds and allow it to ferment.

Preferably overnight next day we will add some oil eno and salt and pour batter into preheated steamer and steam for 15 minutes on high medium flame.once done we will demould and sprinkle coriander leaves chilli powder and enjoy with peanut oil and garlic chutney.
