Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 2large potatoes
  2. 1/2 cuppeas
  3. 1/2 cup cauliflower
  4. 1/2 capsicum
  5. 2 tbspoil
  6. 1green chilli
  7. 2medium size onion
  8. 1 tspginger paste
  9. 1/2 tspred chilli powder
  10. 1/4 tspturmeric powder
  11. 1 tbsppav bhaji masala powder
  12. 1/2 tsp salt
  13. 4-6pav buns
  14. 1 tsplemon juice
  15. 2 tbspcoriander leave
  16. 1large tomato
  17. 1 tbspbutter

Cooking Instructions

    Add cauliflower, potatoes and peas to a pressure cooker.

    Pour water to partially cover them and cook until soft or tender.

  3. 3

    When the pressure releases open the lid and mash them well.

  4. 4

    Add oil to a pan and heat up.

  5. 5

    Add finely chopped onions and fry till they turn translucent. Then add ginger paste and green chilli.

    Next add capsicum and saute for 3-4 minutes.

    Add tomato and salt.

    Fry till tomatoes turn soft and mushy

    Next add chilli powder and pav bhaji masala powder. Mix and fry.

    Pour water just enough to bring to consistency.

    Cook for 3-5 minutes until the bhaji thikens

  12. 12

    Slit the pav buns.

    Heat butter on a pan. Open the buns and sprinkle some pav bhaji masala on butter.

    Place the pav and toast them for a minute.

    Garnish with coriander leaves and lemon juice. Serve it.
