Soak mung Daal for 10 -12 hours soak mung Daal in water, preferably for 12-15 hours. After that make a mung paste and don't use water.

Now take a pan, add ghee and add the dal paste and keep stirring it again and again.

When the paste absorb the ghee, add mawa in it and cook for some time.

Cook the halwa with syrup until it dries, garnish with chopped or crushed pistachios and almonds. If you want. Now it's ready to serve.
