Ingredients

45 minutes
4-5 servings
  • 8-10leftover roti
  • As required Oil
  • 1 whole cup chana dal
  • 1 tspGarlic chutney
  • 2 tspGreen chutney (made out of chilli,lemon,salt and coriander)
  • 1 cupFinely chopped onions
  • 1Lemon

Steps

45 minutes
  1. 1

    To prepare pakwan, take a deep frying pan with oil in it and fry the leftover rotis in it. This tastes just like pakwan.

  2. 2

    Now soak chana dal for half an hour and then boil it for 15-20 minutes.

  3. 3

    Now add a 'tadka' of curry leaves and green chilli in the dal then, add water to the dal if it is thick.

  4. 4

    Serve pakwan with garlic and green chutneys, onions and can sprinkle sev as per taste. Enjoy a nice meal out of leftover rotis.
