Ingredients

  • 2 kg.Cauliflower - florets
  • 1 cuptahini (sesame seed paste)
  • 2 cupscold water
  • 1/2 cuplemon juice
  • 3 tbspolive oil
  • 1/2cilantro - chopped
  • 4garlic cloves - minced
  • 1/4 tspground coriander seed
  • 1/4 tspground cumin
  • 1/4 tspchili pepper or as desired
  • 1/2 tspsalt
  • enough vegetable oil for deep frying

Steps

  1. 1

    Start by preparing the tahini sauce by mixing the tahini, water, lemon juice until smooth.

  2. 2

    Deep fry the cauliflower until golden brown and crispy, set aside over kitchen  paper towels when finished to remove any excess oil.

  3. 3

    In a large saute pan, add olive oil, then saute the garlic and cilantro until aromatic, then add the tahini sauce, salt, ground coriander, cumin and chili pepper

  4. 4

    Leave the ingredients to simmer on low heat until the oil separates from the sauce then serve over the cauliflower.Serve cold as an appetizer.
