Ingredients

  1. 1 lb.black-eyed peas (already soaked)
  2. 1 cupdiced ham
  3. 1/2 cupjalapeño slices
  4. 1/2 cupdiced onion
  5. 1/2 cupdiced celery
  6. Salt, pepper & spices

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Sauté onion & celery until caramelized.

  2. 2

    Incorporate ingredients & 5 cups water. Simmer for 2 hours. Enjoy.
