Steps

Take parwal and slightly peel it. Deseed it and slice it. Rinse it thoroughly with the water. Keep aside.Now take aaloo peel it and roughly slice it. Rinse very well with water. Keep aside.

Heat oil in a pan. When oil is sufficiently heated add sliced onions and green chillies. Saute for few minutes till translucent.

Add parwal and saute for 3-4 minutes. Add aaloo and then salt and haldi powder. Combine all very well.

Cover with the lid and cook on slow flame until tender. Don't add any water. Saute well. Stir occasionally.

Ready to serve. Serve with dal and steamed rice.
