Measure out the milk,butter,salt,sugar and yeast in a bowl and mix well

Add the flour and mix till it's incorporated then transfer to a surface and knead for about 4 minutes. The dough will be sticky but do not add flour continue kneading it will become smooth.

Cover the dough with a bowl for about 5 minutes and prepare the filling.

Mix sugar and cinnamon the set aside. Grease the baking tray

Roll out the dough to a square about a ¼ inch thick,spread the butter all over then spread the sugar an cinnamon mixture and spread evenly.

Roll the dough into a log and cut to equal sizes with a sharp serrated knife or a sewing thread.

Place the pieces on the pan spacing well to give the room to proof, cover and place in a warm area for 1 hour to proof. Tuck the bottom of rolls if pan is too big.

After proofing, bake on preheated oven at 180 degrees c for 20 mins.

Brush with a little margarine when still hot. You can top with cream cheese,whipped cream and a glaze.
