Blt plus sandwich
Bacon Lettuce Tomatoe sandwich plus
Cooking Instructions
- 1
You can either bake your bacon (add 4 to 6 extra minutes to the cooking time for thick cut), or you can heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the bacon for about 6 to 8 minutes, turning it every few minutes until it is nicely crisp, but still pliable. Remove the bacon to paper towels to drain.
- 2
Over medium high heat fry 1 egg to over medium. You will need 1 egg per sandwich. If you dont know how to cook a over medium egg it is in my recipes.
- 3
Toast bread in toaster oven, skillet or oven. How to is in next step.
- 4
Spread about 1 teaspoon of mayonnaise on 1 side of each piece of bread. Spray a large skillet with nonstick cooking spray and heat over medium heat. In the skillet, place as many slices of bread that will fit, mayo side down, and griddle them up until the mayo side of the bread is nicely browned, about 1 minute. Remove the bread from the skillet, let rest browned side up, and griddle up any remaining slices.
- 5
Place 4 of the slices of toast browned side down on a cutting board. Place a tomato on each piece, season lightly with salt and pepper, place 4-6 slices of bacon on each slice of tomato, add cheese of your choice. Then add 1 over medium egg and top with a couple of pieces of lettuce. Generously spread the rest of the mayo on the non-browned side of the remaining slices of bread, and top the sandwiches with the second piece of bread. Slice in half and you're good to go.

More ideas to make your blt plus. You can add grilled or caramelized onions, or a thin slice of raw onion, swap out the plain lettuce for arugula or watercress, or a blend of lettuce. You can Change out the bacon for pancetta. You can add a slice of avocado or make a quick guac-ish mash smash up some avocado with lime juice and maybe some minced scallion or minced cilantro. Either addition is great or just make a classic blt. Bacon Lettuce Tomato sandwich.

Enjoy.

BLT Egg Sandwich BLT Egg Sandwich
When I was on a growth spurt, my mother used to always made this for my breakfast. She didn't add mayonnaise, only chili sauce. I added grain mustard. Now, this enough for my lunch. There's nothing to say really. You can cook the bacon in the microwave if you want. Mix the chili sauce and mustard on a small plate and spread on the bread, adjusting the amount to your liking. Recipe by Mawaru7 cookpad.japan -

Everyone's Favorite BLT Sandwich Everyone's Favorite BLT Sandwich
I had this sandwich as part of a breakfast set at a restaurant, so I always make it on weekends, or on morning when I have some time.- The mustard powder gives a nice accent to the taste.- If you put the cheese between the warm bacon and egg, it will begin to melt. Recipe by Re:Yuki cookpad.japan -

I figured out that I could grill sandwiches in a frying pan. Since then this dish became a popular item in our home.If you prepare the ingredients in the order stated above, the cheese should melt, and the egg will cook through nicely.Toasting with butter will make the bread burn easily, so be sure to adjust the heat accordingly. Fried Green Tomato BLT Sandwiches & Sliders Fried Green Tomato BLT Sandwiches & Sliders
I found this recipe on a website called "The Spruce Eats" while I was looking for ideas of what to do with the abundance of green tomatoes we had since our crazy ohio weather was not very cooperative with our gardening this year. I'm sure glad I did, BLTs have always been a favorite of mine, as well as tomatoes, and these were amazing! The Man of the house (who doesn't like tomatoes) said he couldn't even tell there were tomatoes on them! And my "picky eater preteen" also enjoyed them and couldn't believe he'd eaten tomatoes! 😉👌👍👍🤣 #onerecipeonetree #blt #friedgreentomatoes #sandwiches Chef Mommy Nessa -

Blt 😋 Blt 😋
I HATED bacon until I got pregnant with my fourth child and since then I’ve been eating a BLT almost everyday. I only use a couple strips of bacon because I like to add a ton of lettuce and tomato so it’s really fresh tasting and crunchy. I sometimes make ultimate BLTS and add on avocado, sliced chicken breast, deli lunch meat like turkey or salami and Swiss cheese. 😋 You can always double up the recipe if you want to make two sandwiches and it also pairs nicely with a side salad or any soup really. BLT sandwiches are a fast easy sandwich and I like to tell myself it’s healthy because all the veggies balance out the bacon. 😂🤣 Chef Nena -
