Take a pan add 1cup water,chopped onion, cashews,melon seeds,green chilli, clove,cardamom and cook till onion gets translucent.

Strain excess water and keep it cool.now make a fine paste,discard clove and cardamom.add little milk if needed in grinding to make fine paste.

Heat 1tbsp oil in a kadhai,add cumin seeds,1tsp ginger garlic paste.cook a little.add onion paste and cook till oil gets separated in low flame.

Add salt,pepper powder and milk.Keep stiring add sugar and cook till thicken.

Roast paneer on griller or tawa with a drop of oil.add in gravy and cook for another 1 minute.ready to serve with lachcha parantha or naan.
