First, finely mince the garlic. Empty the two cans of fava beans and chickpeas into a pot and mash them coarsely with a potato masher. Heat the beans until thoroughly warmed.

Wash the vegetables well and chop them finely. Once the beans are hot, turn off the heat and add all the seasoning mix ingredients (lemon juice, salt, cumin, garlic, vegetables, tahini, olive oil). Add everything after turning off the heat.

Mix everything together and serve in bowls. Drizzle extra virgin olive oil over the beans and garnish with a little parsley and tomato. Serve with olives, pickles, chopped vegetables, and Lebanese bread.
