Ingredients

30 minutes for soaking + 15 minutes cooking.
2 servings
  • 1/2 cupbroken wheat daliya
  • 1/2 cupmixed vegetables (green peas,carrot, tomato, capsicum, green chana,Cauliflower) chopped
  • 1 tspoil(wood pressed oil)
  • 1/4 tspjeera(cumin seeds)
  • 2 pinchasafoetida
  • 1/4 tspTurmeric powder
  • 1 tbspginger green chilli paste
  • 1/2 tspred chilli powder
  • 1 tbspdhaniya jeera (coriander cumin powder)
  • to tastesalt
  • 1lemon

Steps

30 minutes for soaking + 15 minutes cooking.

    At first -wash broken wheat 2-3 times with water and add warm water and let it soak for 30 minutes

  2. 2

    In pan-heat oil, add jeera, hing and ginger chilli, saute it, then add all the chopped vegetable and broken wheat without water.

  3. 3

    Add all the masala and let it cook as it is for 1-2 minutes then add 3 cup water cover it and let it simmer on low flame for 15-20 minutes.

  4. 4

    As it is soaked in warm water it will cook without pressure cooker.

  5. 5

    Once it done-switch off the gas, add coriander and lemon juice and serve it with raita and salad.
