Amla pickle
Gooseberries are rich in vit.c which improves immunity
Steps

Wash the amla and pat dry them with cloth. Make cuts on the grooves of amla and fry them in hot oil till half cooked. This makes the easy chopping of amla into slices.

Remove from the oil after frying them, cool and cut into pieces or use whole amla directly without making pieces.

In a pan dry roast the mustard seeds,cumin seeds,coriander seeds,kalonji,methi. Cool it and grind into coarse powder.

Add salt,turmeric, chilli powder, grinder coarse powder of masalas and the oil used to fry the amla into the fried amla and mix well. Adjust the salt and chilli powder according to taste.

Add the lemon juice into it and mix well. Finally crush few garlic cloves and add into the pickle.

Store it in a clean glass container and mix with a dry spoon always.
