Dough for pakwan mix all the ingredients flour oil salt cumin seeds and black pepper and make dough little tight cover it with muslin cloth for rest

After 15/20 minutes of rest take small portion of dough and roll it like chappti prick with fork and deep fry it

For dal soak it for 1/2 an hour

In a pressure cooker add dal salt and turmeric boil it with double the water of dal cook till 3 whistle

Let the pressure release mix it

For tempering in a wok heat oil add cumin seeds green chilli onion ginger finely chopped dry masalas and finely chopped tomatoes add it to dal and mix it and pour it into the serving bowl

Garnish with tamrind paste chopped onion and coriander leaves
