In a mixing bowl, add in the flour, yeast, cardamom powder, ginger powder, salt, sugar and cinnamon powder. give a thorough mix.

Add in the margarine and the egg and mix to a crumbly texture

Add in the milk bit by bit as you mix until the dough comes together. transfer to a dusted work surface and knead for at least 8 minutes. place in a dusted bowl, covered and let sit for 45 minutes as it proofs

Remove and knead it a little before rolling it to a log shape. using a sharp knife, cut the dough as shown

Transfer the dough into a greased bread tin and let proof for at least 30 minutes. apply some eggwash generoudly.

Bake in a 180 degree celcius preheated oven for 25 - 30 minutes

Remove from oven and allow to cool, before removing from the bread tin. serve and enjoy
