Ingredients

3 to 4 hrs
10 to 12 people
  1. 1/2 kgmutton boneless or with bone
  2. 1 tbsCumin powder
  3. 1 tspCrushed black pepper
  4. to tasteSalt
  5. 2 tbsGarlic and ginger paste
  6. Green chilies 4 to 5 or to taste
  7. Water 1 litter
  8. 1/2 cupMoong daal
  9. 1/2 cupOats
  10. 1/2 cupRice
  11. For kabob
  12. 1/2 kgChicken qeema
  13. 2 tbsGreen chilies paste
  14. 2 tbsGarlic ginger paste
  15. 1/2 tbsRed chili powder
  16. to tasteSalt
  17. 1 tbspCumin powder
  18. 1/2 TspCoriander powder
  19. Gramflour 4tbs
  20. Cooking oil for fry
  21. Tadka
  22. Spinach 1 bunch (blanched)
  23. 1Green chilies
  24. Ginger (in julienne cutting)
  25. Fresh cilantro
  26. Garam Masala
  27. cupDesi ghee3/4

Steps

3 to 4 hrs
  1. 1

    In pressure cooker, heat the oil and add mutton boneless cubes and fry for 10 mins then add the cumin powder,salt,black pepper crushed,ginger garlic paste, green chili paste,water,mix well and bring it to boil.

    Cover and cook on medium low flame until meat is tender (approx. 40-45 minutes) then mash well,take out in a bowl & set aside.

    In another cookware, add moong daal,oat,rice,water,mix well & bring it to boil.

  4. 4

    Cover and cook on medium flame until tender (approx. 1 hour).

  5. 5

    Prepare Kabab:
    In bowl,add chicken mince,green chili paste,ginger garlic paste, Salt, cumin powder, red chili powder and coriander and mix well.

    Add gram flour and mix until well combined.

  7. 7

    Grease hands with oil,take a mixture and make small kababs of equal sizes (makes18-20).

  8. 8

    In frying pan,heat cooking oil and fry kababs until golden brown & set aside for later use.

  9. 9

    Turn off the flame and blend the mixture with the help of the blender until required consistency.

  10. 10

    Turn on the flame,add cooked meat and mix well.

  11. 11

    Add salt and mix well.

  12. 12

    Add water and mix well.

  13. 13

    Now add prepared kababs and give it a good mix.

    Tadka:
    In blender,add spinach,green chilies,blend well & set aside.

    In frying pan heat the oil Then add blended green paste and fry for 4-5 minutes.Now pour tadka on hareesa mixture.

    In same frying pan, add the desi ghee and ginger and fry it till golden.

    Put Hareesa in serving dish then pour ginger tadka on top.

    Garnish with fresh cilantro and some green chilies and enjoy
