Moong dal halwa is a rich dessert , usually prepared in winter as it is believed that, this delicious sweet , keeps the body warm . After continuous showers of rain, it was cool as if winter is around the corner. I decided to ma ke this Moong dal halwa sweet dish.

I took 1 cup of split yellow moong dal, washed and dried under the fan. Then proceeded to make halwa with homemade clarified butter (ghee). I could make an aromatic and colourful dessert.
