Ingredients

4 people
  1. 1 cupwheat flour
  2. 1/4 tspcardamom powder
  3. 1/4 tspblack pepper
  4. 1/4 tspcloves powder
  5. 1/4 tspginger powder
  6. 1/4 tspcumin seeds
  7. 2 tbspoil
  8. Water as required
  9. Oil for frying
  10. to tasteSalt

Cooking Instructions

    Measure your ingredients and mix the powders together

  2. 2

    Mix the powders into the flour, mix evenly then make a hole in the centre

  3. 3

    Add the tbs of cooking oil and mix. Then add water slowly to make it knead-able

  4. 4

    Knead till soft then cover with a cling film

  5. 5

    Place back in the bowl and cover with a towel for 10 mins

  6. 6

    After 10 mins, knead again and then shape into balls

  7. 7

    Dust the rolling board and roll the dough into thin chapati. Heat the oil on medium heat

  8. 8

    Using a knife, cut into diamond shapes

  9. 9

    Deep fry in medium heat until golden brown

  10. 10

    Take salt and sprinkle on top. (You can either add the salt in the flour at the start or sprinkle after). Toss for even salting

  11. 11

    Add with desired sauces and drink. Enjoy
