As Ganesh Utsav is going on I made different prasad daily.Today I made coconut balls (Kopra Pak).Here is a recipe of it.

As Ganesh Utsav is going on I made different prasad daily.Today I made coconut balls (Kopra Pak).Here is a recipe of it.

First take milk and desolve milk powder in it....keep it aside.

Put a kadai or pan on the flame and take desi ghee in it.

Add coconut powder in it and stir it for five min..crumble the khoya and add it into coconut powder.(Please keep 50 gm of coconut powder aside)

Also add malai or cream in it. Stir it well.Add milk powder in it and stir well.

Then add sugar and stir it for 5 to 10 min till the sugar dissolves..

Take strings of saffron and dissolve it in 1 tbsp milk...add it into above coconut mixture...stir it gently.

Let it cool for 10 minutes and then make equal size of balls from it and roll them in leftover coconut powder.

Coconut ball is ready for prasad...if you want kopra pak, spread coconut mixture in a thal or mold.Cut into equal size square or rectangular pieces and keep it for 5 to 6 hours. Then with help of spatula and knife collect pieces of kopra pak and store it in a container...please keep kopra pak or coconut balls into freeze..
