Focaccia is a flat oven baked yeast bread originated in Italy. It's traditionally topped with herbs like Rosemary and salt but there are variations It has now became an art to decorate with herbs, and vegetables It's very easy to make and delicious too. Made it first time for #cook with noori with yeast and loved it.

Steps

First mix sugar in warm water 1_1/2cup add yeast and keep it in warm place to bubble or frothy

Mix flour and suji (semolina) and salt

When yeast is frothy add this water and olive oil 3tbsp and form a soft sticky dough, make it a ball.

Don't knead like a dough just mix it and form ball and cover with a wet cloth or cling

Leave it in a warm place to rise for an hour or more even overnight

When it's rises double and soft fluffy again fold with fingers softly.

In a small bowl mix 1/4cup warm water and olive oil.

Grease a pan and spread this dough on it, it's sticky and very soft. Than dip your fingers in oil water bowl and poke deeply in the dough from top to bottom making holes

Again cover and leave to rise.

When it's double in size poke again with oily fingers this steps are important.

Meanwhile your dough is rising make all the vegetables cuttings and preheat oven at 200.Decorate as you like I wanted to make a garden look.Sprinkle some salt, herbs, garlic flakes and little olive oil on top, press with fingers all the toppings softly.

Bake in the oven for 20 _25 mins till it's cooked and nice colour comes

Take out and apply melted butter or olive oil with brush and cover with a damp cloth for few mins, A very delicious bread is ready do try it's sooo tasty. Make variations accordingly.
