Ingredients

  1. 1 kg Chicken pieces cut into 12 pieces
  2. 2 cupsWater
  3. 2 tbspTandoori masala
  4. 1/2 cupYogurt
  5. 1 tspSalt
  6. 1 tspRed chilli powder
  7. 1 tbspGinger garlic paste
  8. 1/4 cupoil
  9. 1 tspAll spice
  10. 1 tspCrushed red pepper
  11. 1 tspCumin seeds
  12. French fries
  13. 2Boiled eggs
  14. 2blended tomatoes
  15. Halfcup fried onions
  16. Handfulcoriander leaves chopped
  17. 2green chillies chopped
  18. For saffron rice
  19. Half glassboiled rice
  20. Half tsp salt
  21. 1 tspchicken powder
  22. Pinchzaffran
  23. Pinchzarda color

Cooking Instructions

    Marinate chicken pieces with 2 tbsp tandoori masala, half cup yogurt, salt, 1 tsp red chili powder,crushed red pepper, cumin seeds,all spice and garlic paste.

    Heat oil, add blended mixture, cook till bubbles arise, add marinated chicken. cook till chicken tender.Serve with saffron rice, french fries and boiled eggs.

    For saffron rice, heat oil, add boiled rice with salt, chicken powder, saffron and pinch of zarda color.mix well.give dam for another 5 minutes.

    Shahjahani chicken with zaffran rice is ready to serve.
