Ingredients

  1. 500 gmsButter
  2. 2 cupschopped onions
  3. 2 cupsChopped tomatoes
  4. as requiredGreen chillies
  5. to tasteSalt
  6. 600 gmsIdli rava batter
  7. ForMasala powder or karam podi preparation--
  8. 1/2 tbspDhaniya
  9. 1/2 tbspMethi
  10. 1/2 tbspJeera
  11. 3-4Tamarind
  12. as per tasteKashmiri mirchi
  13. 4garlic cloves
  14. 3-4Curry leaves
  15. 1 1/2 tbspUrad dal
  16. 2 tbspChenna dal

Cooking Instructions

    For karam podi fry all the Ingredients till it turns into roasted brown colour and smells good.

    Transfer it to grinder jar and coarse it into fine powder. Keep it aside

    Deep frying pan,heat it put butter 200gms then fry all chopped ingredients, coriander thoroughly.

    Add karam podi prepared.mix well

  5. 5

    Divide 3 portions on the same frying pan and inbetween pour this already prepared idli batter.

    Place the lid and fry untill it is crisp and cooked well.

  7. 7

    Serve it with chutney.
