Ingredients

1hr 20min
3-4 servings
  • Pork Belly (mine was precut into 1.5 inch slices)
  • 4apples (I used Fuji apples)
  • 3/4 cupbutter
  • 1/2 cupWorcester Sauce
  • 2 tablespoonshoney
  • 4 tablespoonssugar (or sub brown sugar)
  • 2 tablespoonsItalian Seasoning (or similar)
  • 1 teaspoonPaprika
  • 1 teaspoonCayenne
  • 1 teaspoonsalt
  • 1 teaspoonpepper
  • 4diced garlic cloves
  • 1 tablespooncinnamon (optional)
  • Lemon juice (1 lemon)
  • 2plain apple sauce snack containers

Steps

  1. 1

    Preheat oven to 325°F

  2. 2

    Mix Worcester, lemon juice, seasonings, honey, sugar, apple sauce and diced garlic in a bowl.

  3. 3

    (This step can probably be done multiple ways.) Add butter to your mixture and mix as well as you can. Put in the microwave for about 2 min to melt butter and release some more of the garlic flavor, then mix again.

  4. 4

    Lay the pork skin side up in a large baking dish (I used 9"x13").

  5. 5

    Pour mixture over the pork.

  6. 6

    Slice apples and fan slices around the pork. (It was 2 layers for me.)

  7. 7

    Cover in aluminum foil and bake for about 1hr 20min, or until pork is up to temp.

  8. 8

    I served this on a bed of white rice (optional).
