Dried tomatoes are quite expensive at the store, so I challenged myself to create a homemade version.

Easy Semi-Dried Tomatoes
Dried tomatoes are quite expensive at the store, so I challenged myself to create a homemade version.

Wash the tomatoes and cut in half. Pat the inside moisture dry with paper towels. Thinly slice the garlic.

Line a baking pan with parchment paper and arrange the tomatoes on top.

Bake in an oven at 100°C for about 2 hours. Then, let cool.

These are the dried tomatoes.
- 5
Put the tomatoes and garlic in a jar and add enough olive oil to submerge. You can use them after about a day.
