A scrumptious & tempting recipe to try it’s very healthy as it’s yellow lentils that’s cooked with milk & few regular ingredients from our kitchen. It’s creamy & tasty with a lovely aromatic tempering on it .

Firstly wash dal Masoor & take a pressure cooker add in 1/2 cup water,washed lentils,red chilli powder, turmeric powder,chopped onions, chopped tomatoes cover the lid & cook until 2 whistles then off the flame burner while it’s slightly cool then using a dal ghotni /masher mash it roughly to get the creamy paste as it’s already soften

Now set it on medium flame burner then add milk mix until combined then add kasuri methi leaves

And add coriander leaves let it cook on low flame to boil adjust consistency accordingly but this is medium thick

Lastly get ready for the tempering take a pan add ghee to it let it get slightly warm then add garlic cloves first let it sauté for a minute then add in rest of the all ingredients sauté for a minute then off the flame burner then pop it all over the cooked dal & cover the lid to let it get infused in dal with tempering.

The deliciously awesome dal Masoor cooked with milk is ready to enjoy with white rice,fried fish a good combination meal.
