Ingredients

1 serving
  1. 1 cupcold steamed rice from the fridge
  2. (It's better to use leftover rice from last night)
  3. 1 tspcooking oil
  4. 1egg, make into scrambled egg
  5. 1sausage, sliced
  6. 1 tbspchopped scallions or celery
  7. 1/4-1/2 tspchicken or mushroom powder
  8. 1/2 tspsesame oil
  9. Sugar, salt and pepper (to taste)
  10. Sauce
  11. 1-2 tspsweet soy sauce
  12. 1-2 tsptomato ketchup
  13. 1 tspoyster sauce
  14. 1/2 tspfish sauce or light soy sauce

Cooking Instructions

    Mix the sauce in a cup, set aside. The sauce can also be made ahead and stored in the fridge.

    Heat the oil in a non-stick frying pan. Add the sausage and scrambled egg. Stir for a while.

    Pour the sauce mix. Add the rice. Stir on high heat for about a minute or two. Add sesame oil.

    Turn the heat off. Add chopped scallions or celery, chicken or mushroom seasoning, sugar, salt and pepper to taste. Stir and serve hot.
