Jeera rice, always spks like monuments.one structure,but huge story n life beneath.I mean to say jeera rice is limited ingredients affair...but taste just wow....It's aroma addicts us for frequent cooking...
It's cooked all over India,but it's learn from one of my friend from Bangalore...

Steps

Rice wash n strain to the extend of drying

Put oil in a pan or pressure cooker,I love pressure cooked ones.put jeera 1 spoon. N green n red dry chilli.allow it to change colour.

Add khada garam masala,like javitree,cloves,cardamom,.this should be less to avoid overiding taste of jeera.
That means if it's jeera,it should be jeera the reason of flavor. - 4
Just toss it,and now add rice,to fry a bit in the oil.Allow rice to change colour to off ones...bit reddish.It wl help rice not to break in the later stage.

Now add water,here put water to the extent rice is dipped n water.is at least one inch above it.put curry patta,adjust salt n put just little sugar,ghee for flavor.
Cover it,allow 1 whistle,n lower flame for 3 mins. - 6
Switch off,n allow to open pressure free.
