My daughter is a fussy eater, so I try to cook in variation. I cooked up some spicy Pav-bhaji flavoured breakfast oats today, for my daughter and for the event!

Dry roast oats in a pan, and keep them aside. Grind together garlic and chili to paste. (I used red chilis) In the same pan heat oil and add garlic chili paste till the raw smell goes away. Add the onions now. Cook it till it turns slightly pink in colour. Now add the capsicum, carrots, peas, boiled potatoes and cover and cook it for 2 minutes.

Now add all the masala, including the salt, then add tomatoes.
Cook the tomatoes until tender. Mash all the vegetables slightly. - 3
Add the oats. Mix it well and add 2 and a half cups of water and cover and cook it until it thickens, or so until you get your desired consistency.

Add the freshly squeezed lemon juice, garnish it with coriander leaves and some butter. It's ready to be served.
