Steps
- 1
Preheat the Oven to the hottest it will go (around 220/240°C), Put in a couple of Pizza/ large baking trays, to get really hot.
- 2
Mix the Flour, Yeast, Salt and Sugar together in a mixing bowl. Make a well in the centre and add the oil, Add 250ml of warm water, with a table knife bring together. Once combined move the dough around the bowl to grab the excess.
- 3
Place the dough onto a well floured surface and knead for 5 minutes whilst continuing to sprinkle extra flour, the dough will be wet to begin with. Keep kneading and adding flour until the dough forms and smooths out. Leave to rest in a warm place for 15 minutes/ whilst you prepare your Pizza toppings.
- 4
After 15 minutes, remove the dough from the bowl and cut in half, Roll out one ball at a time on a floured surface, to about 25cm wide. Cut a large square of baking paper then lift the dough onto it. Stretch the Pizza dough with your fingertips until it is about 30cm wide, note the dough should be thinner in the middle and thicker on the edges, this will make a nice crust. Repeat with other half of the dough.
- 5
Spread the Pizzas with Pizza sauce and add your toppings, Once topped remove the trays from the oven (Careful they will be REALLY hot), Slide the Pizzas onto the trays whilst still on the baking paper to help them slide easily. Bake for around 15 minutes and turn half way through, Cook until the base is golden and crisp/ to how you like!
