Chocolate Cake with Green Apple and Cream Cheese with Almond Flour

I wanted to make something with the dark chocolate I had in the fridge, so I used the ingredients I had on hand.

Cooking Instructions

In a mixer, combine almond flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix on low speed.

Add milk, butter, and vanilla. Beat on low speed, then beat for 2 minutes on medium speed. Add eggs and beat for another 2 minutes. Pour into a greased and floured 9-inch round pan.

Transfer part of the mixture to a blender, add 2 green apples, and blend until well incorporated. Combine with the rest of the mixture.

Pour into a greased and floured 9-inch round pan. Bake at 350°F for 30 to 35 minutes. Remove from oven and cool. Remove from pan and let cool completely.

Melt chocolate and butter over low heat, remove from heat, and add powdered sugar and hot water, stirring constantly. Add more water if needed to achieve a glaze consistency. Glaze the cake and mix with cream to lighten the flavor, letting it drip down the sides to cover completely.

Place in the refrigerator to cool well and prevent the glaze from dripping.
