Avocado au Gratin with Tofu, Miso and Cheese Avocado au Gratin with Tofu, Miso and Cheese
I wanted to make the most of the cute avocado shape to make a miso-flavored dish that even kids who dislike avocados may enjoy. They like it a lot!I've listed a decent amount of miso because the avocado itself isn't seasoned. When using mozzarella or sliced cheese, make sure not to scatter on top of the edges of the avocado to prevent it from melting and running off. It's even more delicious if you scatter on parmesan cheese. It's a great appetizer to enjoy with wine. For 2 servings. Recipe by Ikumihan cookpad.japan -
Avocado and Taro Root Seasoned with Sesame and Miso Avocado and Taro Root Seasoned with Sesame and Miso
I thought up this recipe for a quick Japanese appetizer for drinking using whatever was in the fridge. The skins of the taro root slide off easily with this method. But be careful, since they are hot!If you increase the amount of taro roots, you will have enough for more than 3 servings; adjust the amount of seasoning accordingly. Avocado, Japanese-Style Avocado, Japanese-Style
Avocado flavored with soy sauce exists, but I added a little extra step. Vinegar prevents the avocado from discoloring, too.Use a little grated garlic instead of dashi stock granules to turn this into a drinking appetizer for adults. Try it both ways! For 1 serving. Avocado Pickled in Shio-Koji Avocado Pickled in Shio-Koji
Since avocados pickled with fermented rice bran are delicious, I wondered how they would be with shio-koji...Though I pickled ripe avocados, it's OK to use avocados that are still hard when cutting. If the avocados are not ripe yet, it means that they will turn out lightly pickled. This is a great way of using up hard avocados. Recipe by kebeibiko cookpad.japan -
