Switch up your usual meal by making this dish—braised pork with fried pork roll instead of the classic pork and eggs, simmered with creme soda. The pork and pork roll turn out tender and deliciously sweet.

Cut the pork loin into cubes. Marinate the pork with 1 tablespoon oyster sauce, 1 tablespoon fish sauce, 1 teaspoon seasoning powder, and 3 cloves of garlic (crushed). Slice the fried pork roll into thin pieces. Let the pork marinate for about 1 hour.

Heat oil in a pot and sauté the garlic until fragrant. Add the pork and stir-fry until the outside is browned. Pour in the can of creme soda, bring to a boil, then reduce the heat, cover, and simmer until the pork is tender. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed—do not add sugar, as the creme soda is already sweet. When the pork is just tender, add the fried pork roll, stir, and cook for another 10 minutes to let the flavors absorb, then turn off the heat.

If you like it spicy, add chili while simmering. If not, sprinkle black pepper on top after turning off the heat.
