Ingredients

Preparation time-10 mins, Cooking time-30 mins
2 servings
  1. 100 gmsLauki roundels washed, peeled, cut into 1/2” thickness roundels and inside scooped out
  2. 1 cupKhoya
  3. 1/4 cupAlmond powder
  4. 1 tspgreen cardamom powder
  5. 1 Tbspsugar
  6. 1 tspghee
  7. For Sugar syrup
  8. 1 cupwater
  9. 1 cupsugar
  10. For garnish
  11. as requiredblack raisins

Steps

Preparation time-10 mins, Cooking time-30 mins
  1. 1

    In pan heat water and sugar and make sugar syrup. No need for one-string consistency.

  2. 2

    Add the Lauki roundels into it and boil for 2 mins covered. Once boiled set aside to dry them.

  3. 3

    In another pan heat ghee, add Khoya, cardamom powder, almond powder, and sugar, and keep stirring until leaves surface. Set aside.

  4. 4

    Now make small balls from the Khoya mix and put them inside the roundels. Complete the batch and put black raisins on it.

  5. 5

    Plate and enjoy this Rakhi.
