Ingredients

45 minutes
2 servings
  • 1/4 cupjaggery powder
  • 1/4 cupghee or butter
  • 1/2 cupoats flour
  • 1/4 cupwheat flour
  • 2 tbspgram flour
  • 1/4 tspsalt
  • 1/2 tspbaking powder
  • 1/4 tspbaking soda
  • 2 tbsprolled oats
  • 2 tbspdesiccated coconut
  • as neededBlack raisins as per your choice
  • 2-3 tbspmilk (room temperature)
  • For baking cookies in gas stove :
  • as neededParchment paper
  • as per tasteSalt
  • Garnishing :
  • as required Black raisins
  • As requiredChocochip
  • as needed Chopped almonds

Steps

  1. 1

    Firstly, take a mixing bowl add jaggery powder and ghee whisk it for 5-6 minutes till it turns to fluffy and light texture.

    Sieve the oats flour, wheat flour, gram flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda to wet ingredients.

  3. 3

    Now add raisins, rolled oats,desiccated coconut, chocochip(optional) and combine well the ingredients. Further add milk one by one tbsp till it forms into dough.

  4. 4

    For making cookies : take same portions of dough and make round balls. Now gently press and flatten them a little from top.

  5. 5

    Transfer cookies into tray lined with parchment paper. Garnish cookies with some raisins, chopped almonds par chocochips.

  6. 6

    Take a kadai and add salt to bottom surface. Place rack on it. Cover the lid and let it heat kadai for 10 minutes. Afterwards, carefully place the plate into pan and cover the lid. (Make sure you maintain sufficient space between cookies).

  7. 7

    Bake cookies for 18-20 minutes or until it turns light golden color. in medium-low flame. Make sure when you off the gas flame, instantly take out the plate of cookies and let it cool down in room temperature. After 8-10 minutes cookies will be perfect. Store cookies in air tight container.
