Wash and cut bitter gourd and potato into small squares.

Chop onion into small squares

In a kadai take 2 tbsp oil, add 1 big chopped onion and fry till onion is light brown. Add bitter gourd and potato, salt to taste and little water. Cook till bitter gourd is cooked. Mix 1tsp each coriander powder, cumin powder, amchur powder and chilli powder as per taste. Mix well. Cover and sim for a few minutes till all ingredients are fried well.

Serve with hot chapatis.
