Cooking Instructions
- 1
Mix all the ingredients and knead well.
- 2
Shape the batter into any shape you like, bake at 200°C for 20-25 minutes, and it's done.
- 3
The ingredients above are for plain, but it's also great if you add kinako, cinnamon, cocoa, etc..
- 4
Kinako version: Okara 100 g, bread flour 25 g, kinako 25 g! For a crunchier texture, use 50 g of bread flour, but I think they will turn out crunchy enough.
- 5
Cocoa version: Okara 100 g, bread flour 25 g, cocoa powder 25 g! The cocoa will burn easily so keep an eye on them while they bake in the oven.

Onion Filled Bread Sticks Onion Filled Bread Sticks
Onions are in season, so I incorporated them into a bread dough. My kitchen was filled with the sweet aroma of onions and roasted shrimp. It's delicious freshly baked, but also good after 30 minutes once the flavors meld.Don't use oil when sautéing the onions (Step 1). But, since they burn easily, make sure to stir the pot constantly. Instead of shrimp, you can use minced bacon, or sprinkle with black pepper. Recipe by miyuki12 cookpad.japan -
