Ingredients

  • 3/4 cupTamarind pulp
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tspChilli flakes
  • 1/2 tspTurmeric
  • 1/2 tspCoriander powder
  • 1/4 tspYellow colour
  • 1 tspCrushed coriander seeds
  • 1 tspChaat masala
  • 1 tbspKetchup
  • 1/2 tspGarlic paste/powder
  • 1 tbspCorn flour
  • 2-3Lotus stem
  • 1 cupWater
  • Coriander leaves a handful

Steps

  1. 1

    Scrap,wash and cut lotus root into thick,large pieces.

    Boil lotus root till tender.

    Add in all the ingredients.

    Cook till slightly thickens and lotus is coated with the sauce.

    Lastly throw in coriander leaves.
