Ingredients

3 servings
  • 11/2 cuprice uncooked /4cup cooked rice
  • 2-3 spoonlemon juice /as needed
  • as per taste Salt
  • 2 spoonoil
  • 3/4 spoonmustard seeds
  • 4 spoonpeanuts and cashewnuts
  • 1/4 spoonterumic powder
  • 2green chilli slits
  • 1spring curry leaves
  • 11/2 spoonbengal gram (chana dal)
  • 1 spoonskinned black gram (urad dal safed dhuli)
  • 1 pinchassofodeta
  • 1/2 inchchhoped ginger
  • as required Dry red chilli broken

Steps

  1. 1

    Wash rice and drain water completely. On a low flame cover and cook in large pot with 3cup water. After cooking let rice cool completely

    Rice are cooked but take care they should not be sticky. Looks grainy. Transfer in plate spread on plate for cooling.

    Heat a small pan add 1/2spoon oil add peanuts cashewnuts fry golden and crunchy sepretely. Keep aside.

    Pour another 11/2spoon oil add mustard seeds add both lentils (chana dal n urad dal) fry until become golden add chopped ginger green chilli slits dry red chilli broken curry leaves assofodeta terumic powder salt mix well add 2-3spoon water

    Stir well switch off flame.Transfer this into cooked rice. Squzze the lemon juice

    Add fried peanuts and cashewnuts. Mix all together.

    Garnish with fresh green coriander leaves.
    Serve lemon rice.
    Super tasty and easy to make.
