Firstly wash & peal turnips /shalgam chop in 2 pieces each set-aside. further prepare a one-pot handi to take a pressure cooker to add in all ingredients spices, onions, tomatoes, mutton, oil, water cover the lid & cook until 3-4 whistles. uncover the lid & cook the gravy until oil separates. finally, add turnips/shalgam pieces adjust the gravy consistency with 1/2 glass water or more.

Simply cover the lid & cook until turnips are softened like potatoes but not mushy soften. once the oil separates a layer add coriander leaves & off the flame burner. our delicious shalgam gosht is ready to serve with white rice or chapati either…!
