Ingredients

  1. 250 gramsdal chana
  2. 250 gramslouki
  3. 1medium onion sliced
  4. 1small tomato chopped
  5. 1,1 tspcrushed ginger garlic
  6. 1/4 cupoil
  7. 1 tspsalt
  8. 1 tspred chili
  9. 1/4 tspturmeric powder
  10. 1 tspdhania powder
  11. Chopped green coriander for garnish
  12. 1/2 tspgaram masala powder
  13. Water as required

Cooking Instructions

    Heat oil in a pan and add sliced onions saute till soft n add crushed ginger garlic saute well and add chopped tomato.add some water and all spices except garam masala powder and cook covered for 5 minutes.you can make a smooth paste by using a hand blender at this stage.

    Add the soaked daal in the mixture n mix well and cook covered till half done then add chopped louki with some water and cook covered until both daal n louki are fully cooked on medium low flame.

    Adjust the gravy as needed and add garam masala powder n fresh green coriander and serve with roti or rice.
