Steps

Sieve the refined flour and take it into a bowl. Add salt and ghee. Mix well. When you make flour should hold the shape. Adjust the ghee if not holding shape.

Add little water and make a smooth but stiff dough. Cover and keep aside for 15 minutes.

In a sauce pan add water and sugar. Mix it well and stir occasionally. Make one thread consistency sugar syrup. Add kewra essence and Keep aside.

In a bowl mix ghee and corn flour to form a smooth paste.

Now devide the dough into 6 equal portions. Take one portion and roll it into a thin chapati.

Place this chapati over a plate and smear the cornflour paste all over the chapati. spread some flour over it.

Now roll another chapati and place it over the first chapati.

Again smear the second chapati with the cornflour mixture. and mix well with the cornflour paste. Now place the third chapati and repeat the process with all the other portion of the dough.

Now slowly gather all the layers of the chapati. Hold it together and firmly and tightly roll the chapati I to a big roll.Cut into 1 cm pieces.

Slightly press to make a round shape of the piece.

Heat ghee in a pan. Now put these pieces in ghee and cook them slowly from both sides until crisp. (Do not try to cook too much heat and cook it on the medium-low flame).

Once done dip it in warm sugar syrup for 2 -3 minutes. Place it on a wire rack to cool down completely. Store in an airtight container. Garnish with chopped dry fruit.
